FGS has a diverse range of fashion brands, including America Today, Coolcat, MS Mode, and the lingerie brand Sapph. We have come a long way since 1979, when we started as a small family business selling children’s clothing in a store located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Over the years, we developed into a global group, including four fashion retail companies. Our size may have grown, but our core aim stayed untouched: selling affordable clothes to everyone who feels connected to our brands, including to less fortunate families. We recognize that our business touches the lives of many people, including our customers, employees and all the people involved in our supply chain who produce our products. What we do and the way we do it has an impact on all these people. Our roots remain guiding in our business operations today. Our approach to business is guided by our commitment to the following principles:
- Social connectedness
What started as a single clothing store for children in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has grown into a global fashion group.
We have local stores and shop-in-shops in established department stores where our customers across Europe can buy our fashion. Customers can also shop our fashion online in numerous countries. We open new stores where there is good potential and we continuously develop and optimize the store portfolio. Our digital expansion focuses on new markets and collaborations with external partners and social platforms.
